The End
Ever have some normal routine come to the end?… Alomost like that regular cup of coffee you have every morning, one day you notice that you don't want it anymore and then "poof" its gone. Nobody can be sure of when the realization of the end really happens, is it a feeling you get moments, months, or years before it really happens? In some instances it is just that, an instant. I knew that coffee isn't the best for my body, but I drank it ayway. . . it was a choice.
For me I think it starts with a choice or better yet, a notion, something you think about, but don't put alot of weight on because it is just so unrealistic. The coffee thing for me was simple. other things I have changed in my life not so simple, but still it was changed and I'm a better person for it. Somebody once said, if it wasn't worth a fight, it never really was that important.
But giving up something without a fight seems like a crazy idea to me. I'm not a quitter, I like to finish what start (you wouldn't know that by the tree in my side yard, it still needs a visit from Mr.Chainsaw!). Bottom line here, we create our world, we decide what to do with every new day, I generally choose to make it the best day ever, no matter what is thrown my way.
Today is different, I have to quit something that I never in a million years thought I would have to.
I'm having an extremely hard time quitting. Its been years, it has been something that needed change for some time. I can't think of today as quitting, I have to think of it as a new door that has opened. A new life that has great potential. I think I will change my thinking to embrace everyday with the thought that there is "potential" It will make things right in this world.
Today is a GREAT day, and I look forward to tomorrow.
Runyan Lake
Tuesday Mikie called and invited Jillian & I out on the Pontoon,
after the morning nap, I slopped on the "waterbabies" 50spf sunblock all over her, got her in her bikini and headed out. (Beautiful day)
I have discovered that Jillian Loves the outdoors, especially the Sun and Water! We arrived at Mikies Parents about 1:30 and went straight to the pontoon.
We kicked back eating her new favorite snack, dried blueberries, and watched as Mikie, Jen & Jippy fished. They caught a few, Jillian was interested but didn't want to get too close. Finally we anchored by the island and ventured off the pontoon with our little float.
Jillian was sitting by the headrest on her knees trying to touch the water on both sides, weighing only 22 lbs she barley displaces anything on the raft! As we get to shallow water I pick her up and dobb her feet in as she giggles, now I have a little bobber!
Up and Down – Up and Down, now she's Roaring! and its making me laugh hystrically. She definately gets her "laughing" gene from me (Its the little things that amuse me). Now we are up to her "little swimmer's" and she realizes "Hey I can touch" I think the exact word was a kind-of a questioning sigh Like scooby-doo "huuaigh" and then the real fun began, she was pushing the raft around walking thru the water like she's pushing a shopping cart thru a candy store! That smile is AMAZING! After spashing and having fun, we get back on the pontoon for some more blueberries and a couple Mini cheddar hot-dogs, sippie cup and a nice cold beverage for dad, had a little picnic with our friends!
With all of this hard work of having fun, Jillian decided to kick back and enjoy a little sun bathing.
Being the boater she is she insisted on driving (so she thinks) and I snapped this pic showing her determination.
We got back to Vauters and found dinner waiting for us, Yum! THANK YOU!
